Q1. I would like to purchase one of the 'custom-designed' poster prints available. How do I go about picking the photos and placing the order on the site?

A1. We offer several types of 'custom-designed' posters, as elaborate or simple as you can imagine! To view some of our samples, please visit the Sample Posters section on our main page.

The best way is to first compile a group of images you want for your custom poster using the photo ID signature for the image(s) desired. They are located just below the image thumbnails. (EXAMPLE: hsc_mg.db0810976 ----> you would write 08100976)

Next, choose a design style from our samples and decide on the poster size desired.

Once you have all this ready, to complete the order, either call our office or email us your information.

The samples we have placed on-line are just some examples of designs we have made in the past. If you have and idea about one you would like our designers to try and re-create, please contact us as we will be more than happy to duplicate your design.

You can customize which photos you want and where. Also, the what the text reads, as well as its style, color, and placement. Typical text usages are for Player Name, Player Position, Hampden-Sydney College, Year and Player Number.

We will not print your poster until you give the okay! Once your poster has been designed, we will post a "proof" of the design on the website under "Poster Samples/ Poster Proofs" for your viewing and approval. Once you have reviewed the piece and decide on changes or to print, just contact us back and we will proceed with printing your order.

Q2. I'd like to have a poster, but I'm not sure which size to select...

A2. Size is 50% preference, and 50% photo composition. What does that mean? Some prints work better at different sizes, or work better with borders or matting. The following photos will help demonstrate what factors help to qualify photos for different print sizes.

If your photo fills the frame of the photograph, like this:

You can easily get most of our regular sized prints. The other 'irregular sizes' such as the
8x8, 12x12 and some 8x10 print sizes may result in the image being cropped, or cut in a way that takes away from the action in the original photo.

If you place an order for a size we don't feel will fit the print properly, we may contact you for changes.

Q3. I have a photograph that I really like, and the action fills the frame, but I don't want the sizes the photo fits best with, or a close up... What do I do?

A3. There are a couple options for people who want a specific sized print, but the print doesn't fit perfectly. We can always include a border on the print. It will look something like any of the following photos (NOTE: Only the background colors change).

Q4. I would like to have a digital download of the file, is this possible?

A4. As of now, NO, it is not possible. We are developing a way for this to become a part of our sales system. If you have any suggestions for development on this issue, please email us at: contact@hscphotos.com with your ideas.

Q5. I've placed an order for a poster to be designed, how will I know if it's what I really want?

A5. It is HSCPhotos.com's policy that all custom-designed posters are withheld from printing until the buyer has seen and approved of the poster-design proof. The proofs will be made available for viewing under the heading "Poster Proofs" once the design team has developed it. It is then up to the customer to respond quickly to progress the print to final printing and shipping stages.

At the proof stage, you may request changes in photo location, photo selection, font placements and font content.

It is our job to ensure that you get the poster exactly as you want it.

Q6. I would like to buy duplicate photos, how do I do this?

A6. Simply select the quantity to your desired amount. If you wish the same photo at different sizes, please imput the quantity for each size desired.

We are currently working on a "bulk ordering system" so that the more you buy, the cheaper it is! Please keep checking back throughout the season.

Q7. There are so many great photos, I have a huge list of photos I'd like to have... do you offer any discount on bulk image purchases?

A7. Yes we do. However, our website doesn't enable multi-photo purchases, so the best way to complete this purchase would be to call our offices and order through the phone (904-738-3754). Bulk print orders, in excess of 19 prints will receive a 30% discount off entire purchase. Discounts vary on your smiles!

Q8. Can I purchase these photos and have them placed on a CD?

A8. At this moment, no. Our legal team is discussing rights and privileges, but we hope to add it to our selection of products available to customers.
